Finding a range of places outside the home to concoct new ideas and strategies

In deciding to venture forth into the world of web design it was the work and efforts of other individuals that caught my attention and spurred me on.
Special mention must go to the online content and YouTube channels of those wonderful millennials with their thirst for knowledge, a sense of adventure and can and will do attitude. Added to which was a work culture which was always on the move and connected, whether sitting in a cafe of office or co-working space.
This change of scenery helps in many ways. In this sense I had started a routine of spacing my freelance work between home, cafes and libraries. It helps with focus and working to a timetable with ideas allowed to evolve and produce.
The articles themselves were originally written in the early 2000s and with the original intention of presenting them on a personal website or blog. The paperwork also vanished for sometime. It was that as I shifted through boxes and files in the loft that they finally revealed themselves again, perhaps at this time somewhat fittingly.
As a test run for a first website then I have selected a few of the locations I visited eons ago. With some further research I have tried to include relevant photos and links where possible. You've got to remember that the articles were written in an era before smart phone and their sophisticated cameras so it was near impossible to provide any photographs let alone videos of the original locations.
So the next best thing to do was to point out locations by street names and places. And if by chance I did dig up an old photo or two on the internet, then a link and reference will be present.
